We have partnered with BetterHelp to support your mental wellbeing by providing you with easy and convenient access to professional therapy online. This resource is available to you and your dependents free of charge.

How Does It Work?

  1. Complete the intake form.
  2. An invite email will be sent from BetterHelp, click the ‘Get Started’ link.
  3. Complete a brief questionnaire to get matched with a therapist that suits your needs.
  4. Communicate weekly with your therapist via phone, video, or live chat. You can even text your therapist whenever you want.

There is a limit of 6 therapy sessions.

Eligibility

  • I’m employed at a KFC restaurant in the U.S. participating in the KFC Foundation’s Annual Donation Program and in good standing
  • OR I’m a dependent of a KFC team member employed at a KFC restaurant in the U.S. participating in the KFC Foundation’s Annual Donation Program and in good standing

FAQs

  1. How many therapy sessions do I get?
    The Foundation will cover the cost of 6 therapy sessions for each participant accepted into the program.
  2. Who are the therapists?
    Betterhelp therapists are independently licensed clinicians licensed by their state’s professional board after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, and training. The 30,000+ therapists on BetterHelp represent a wide variety of expertise, backgrounds, and therapy modalities.
  3. How do I book my sessions?
    You can use BetterHelp’s scheduling tool to book a live sessions with your therapist – simply choose the date, time, and modality (phone, video, or live-chat) for your sessions. You can even text your therapist whenever you want with the messaging tool.
  4. How many hours do I need to work to be eligible?
    There are no minimum hour requirements.

To be eligible for programs offered by the KFC Foundation (the “Foundation”), you must be employed at a participating KFC franchise or company-owned restaurant in the United States that contributes to the Foundation’s Franchise Donation Program. You must also remain in good standing with your employer in accordance with all applicable employment policies and practices. The Foundation reserves the right to re-verify your eligibility for its programs at any time. The Foundation further reserves the right to modify, suspend, or otherwise terminate its programs at any time, including any program-specific eligibility requirements.
