Pursue your high school credential through our free, all-inclusive GED Achievement program, which provides unlimited access to official GED prep and testing—in English and Spanish!

College/Trade School Scholarship Guarantee: Each time you pass a subject exam, you’ll receive a $25 Visa gift card. You’ll get a $100 Visa gift card when you pass your fourth and final test.

Congratulatory Visa® gift cards: If you earn your GED and apply for a scholarship through the KFC Foundation, you’re guaranteed an award, given you follow all instructions and meet minimum eligibility requirements.

Annual GED Grad Raffle: Graduates can be nominated by their Franchisee for this prestigious award that includes a $1,000 Visa® gift card! To be eligible to win, you must be employed at a participating restaurant when the winner is selected in December.

Annual GED Graduate of the Year Award: Once you earn your GED, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a $1,000 Visa® gift card that takes place in December of each year. You must be employed at a participating restaurant at the time of the drawing to be eligible.

How Does It Work?

  1. Create an account.
  2. The KFC Foundation will verify your employment status. Once verified, you’ll take a practice test.
  3. Your GED Advisor will contact you by phone to create your personal success plan and guide you through the program until you earn your GED credential.
  4. Start studying and begin testing when you’re ready.

You must complete this program on a computer. This program cannot be completed on a phone.

Eligibility Requirements

  • I’m employed at a KFC restaurant in the U.S. participating in the KFC Foundation’s Annual Donation Program and in good standing
  • I’m not enrolled in high school
  • I have not graduated from high school or received a GED credential or equivalent
  • I’m at least 16 years old (may need to be at least 18 years old in some states)

Will the program work for me and my schedule?

Your GED Advisor ™  will work with you to customize your plan. For the best and quickest results, we recommend you set aside time each week to study.

How will my advisor contact me?

Your personal GED Advisor ™  will contact you by phone and email so make sure you check your email and phone regularly and respond in a timely manner.

How many hours do I need to work to be eligible?

There are no minimum hour requirements.

Can I take the test more than once?

Yes, you’ll receive unlimited study material and testing as long as you follow the program guidelines.
